Default Format Painter Drops copied material when scrolling to next page

FWIW, I find CopyFormat (Ctrl+Shift+C) and PasteFormat (Ctrl+Shift+V) more
satisfactory than the Format Painter. Once you copy a format, it stays on
the "Clipboard" until you copy another, so you can apply it to as many
paragraphs as you like (you don't have to select them all at once.

But also note that you can select lengthy selections without scrolling by
clicking at one end of the selection, using the scroll bar to get to the
other end, and Shift+clicking there.

HI:

I have a user receiving an error when using Format Painter -- when working
a
newly created document it, Format Painter copied material, is not dropped
when scrolling. However, when working with a particular document the
Format
Painter icon (even on Double-click) disappears when scrolling to the next
page. I am not sure where to look to turn this off in Word 2007. I think
it
may have something to do with the style being used, not sure and can't
find
the setting either.

Thanks

Mike
