Default Row numbers

I suspect what you need to do is copy all the table except the heading row
and paste into Excel. Or paste the entire table and delete the heading row.

I've been asked to "throw a Word table into Excel" without having the

column
headings appear on Row 1 of the sheet. Is there a way to have the table
headings appear ABOVE Row 1?

I would appreciate your help since I have very little experience with

Excel.
