Default White Lines / Empty Spaces above/below cells next to cells with bo

It may help you to look at the examples I have described at:
http://thedoctools.com/index.php?show=wt_cell_shading
Even if it sounds as if you have already checked a lot, there may still be
things to check€¦

How do you get rid of these lines?? Two columns have cells with borders
around them (various sizes) to create boxes. The last column (to the right)
is shaded (gray). The problem: Wherever a border is in the first two
columns, it is creating a
white line (space) in the shaded column. Meaning: The Gray Shaded has
horizontal white lines running through it when I need it to be a solide
grayed in area. I have determined that the space being taken by the borders
in the first two columns is sitting there empty in the shaded column
resulting in white lines / or blank space. I have adjusted the cell margins
to Zero, adjusted the Table Options Cell Margin Defaults to Zero, I have
tried creating borders ( the same size as the other borders) in the gray
color thinking that would fill in the space - I have tried everything that I
can think of.......many more than what I have listed - with no uccess!
Please let me know if you have my solution or need further information!
