For my wedding I'm putting the table numbers and the guest's names in a 3.5X5
inch picture frames. I don't know how to set up MS WORD to get say 4 place
cards on one sheet of 8.5X11 paper.... Thanks....

Start with the Tools Letters Envelopes & Labels dialog. Click the
Options button and choose a "post card" stock such as number 8387.
Click the New Document button. If you don't see the light gray
gridlines, click Table Show Gridlines. This is a 2x2 table whose
cells are locked at 4.25" x 5.5", dividing the landscape sheet into
four equal areas.

If you need to restrict the size to 3.5" x 5", select the whole table
and go to Table Table Properties. On the Row tab, set the
measurement to 3.5". On the Column tab, set it to 5". Click OK.

The table will now be in the upper left corner of the page, with
margins only on the right and bottom. This is good because it reduces
the amount of cutting you have to do, but if you want the table in the
middle of the page, go to File Page Setup and increase the left
margin to 0.5" and the top margin to 0.75".

To make the job as easy as possible, do a mail merge and use this
document as the main document. See
http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_lab...th_word_xp.htm for advice.
If you're putting an illustration on the cards, see
http://www.gmayor.com/graphics_on_labels.htm.
