The files are attached at a network location through another program. After
this was posted yesterday, the computer was somehow pulling from the temp
directory instead of the real file from the network. We deleted the temp
files from her local machine. Is there a way to keep this from happening in
the future?

Hi ?B?QmVu?=,

I have a co-worker who is opening documents from another program. The
documents in the program are using the the following format name##. The name
is always the same, but the numbers are reused at a certain point. What is
hapening is when the numbers are reused her maching is opening the document
that last used that number instead of opening the latest. This dosen not
happen if there is a document has a longer name or different name than what
was used before. We can not change the file name format the document comes
in. I need help to figure out where this is coming from. It only happens on
her machine.

Are the documents being opened from a network location? Are you sure she's going
to that location to open the documents, and not to some place (such as the TEMP
folder) on her local machine? What command set is she using to open the files?

Version of Word?
