If you tell Word to translate the word "pain," what language do you think
Word would think that is? English? French? Some other language in which that
word also exists? There are too many duplications for Word to guess. Word's
performance in recognizing languages is bad enough without its
second-guessing this process as well.

when you try to translate a word in another language, word doesn't try to
automatically recognize what language the word is, so you have to keep
selecting what language the original word is. It makes sense to not have
an
automatically translation to option becuase that depends on the user, but
to
have an automatic translation from option seems necessary. Thanks
