Default Word should not create temporary files while I am editing any

Not to mention that storing files on the desktop can be a rather precarious
practice in the first place. Since the temps are placed in the same location
as the file, they won't be on the desktop if the file isn't.

We wouldn't have multiple Undos, either, without temp files, I think.

You could stop viewing hidden and system files. However, if they get rid of

I really dont like the concept used by MS Word in creating temporary files
while I am editing any document. When I am editing the document located on
my
desktop, there are a bunch of temporary files created on my desktop.
Almost
half of my desktop is filled with these temporary files. I really want to
get
rid of this.
