Hi sdlfkj

That's right. The ability to select multiple ranges simultaneously was
introduced in Word 2002.

Hope this helps.

I want to copy certain lines in a document. In a folder I would
hold the Ctrl button down and click with the mouse. Is there
something similiar in Word?

In Word 2002 and 2003, you can select noncontiguous text by selecting
the first line, then pressing Ctrl while you select the others.

Using Word 2000 (9.0.2720). Those Ctrl tips didn't work. I guess its too
old.
