Default How do I change the color by author colors for reviewing?

Change your color setting to "By Author." You won't necessarily see the same
colors the other editors saw when they were working on the document, but
each editor will be assigned a different color.

This is unchecked on my PC and I continue to have a problem seeing the
color
that other editors used on a document. Everything appears in my default
colors. Are there are any other suggestions on ways to fix this problem?

I know this a year later response. However, I have been having this issue
for
about two months now. FINALLY, after having a few other Admins working on
this with me, we found a solution.

In Word go to Tools.Options.Security. Uncheck the box that says "Remove
personal information from file properties on save." I hope this helps you
as
it did me.

I have a document that I am reviewing in Word 2002 with Track Changes
on.
However the changes of another reviewer are coming up in the same color
as my
changes. I have Color: By Author on in the Options but want to know how
I can
change an Author's color.

Thanks
