Default circle a word

If you were using the online Test Drive, then you were using a version with
all the East Asian features enabled. One of these is something like "Enclose
Text," and that may be what you were using. You'll need to decide whether
this functionality is important enough to you to justify installing support
for East Asian languages.

In Word 2003, the command FormatEncloseCharacters is available in All
Commands in Tools | Customize, so you might check for "Commands Not in the
Ribbon" in Word 2007 to see if it (or something like it) is there and if it
does what you want.

When first perusing word 2007 tutorials and trials online before

downloading,
I was able to right-click on a word, and there was either a circle or it

said
'circle,' and I was able to circle a letter owr word... SOMEWHERE. Now I
can't find it. Does that option exist? I know that I can insert a shape
(circle), but this worked in seconds, circled exactly what I wanted, and

now
I don't know where I saw it and just can't do it in word 2007. Am I
hallucinating?? thanks for help... as a teacher, I need this way to
emphasized words.
