Default ABC order last names on list where last names are last

Sometimes you have to monkey with the sort Options (changing the separator
character to space, for example) to force Word to display Word 1 and Word 2.

If each name in the list has just two words (first name and last name),

you
can select it and use Table | Sort to sort by Word 2. If some names have
more than one "first name," replace the space between them with a
nonbreaking space (Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar), and they will be treated as a
single word.
