Default Vertical text in "07 table cell

It's also possible to increase the left and right indents of the paragraph in
the cell so that only one character fits on each line. Sometimes this happens by
accident and mystifies people.

Yes, you're confusing it with Excel. As a one-off you could create the same
effect by putting each letter on a separate line but there is no way to
format like that in Word in general.

Word '07 on Windows XP

IS it possible to set text in a Word™ table cell to rpint vertically-- Not
rotate the whole line, but stack each letter below the other, or am I
confusing this with the vertical print option in Excel™?

Yes I found the text direction tool in the data group of the layout tab,
but
vertical print is not there..

Please Point me in the right direction or just tell me it does not exist.

Thank you
