Quotation marks: have to hit space bar for them to appear
Your keyboard is probably set to some other language where the Quote
key is a dead key that triggers some other action, like a variant form
or an accented form of some letter.
You deal with this in different ways depending on what your version of
Windows is, but they involve Start Control Panel Regional &
Language Options.

I use Word in Office 2003. *Whenever I type quotation marks, they do not

I cannot find anything relating to this behavior in the various tabs in Word.
Any ideas?
