Hi Eugene,

I am using Word 2003 to open a document but certain text are missing if
choose to review as 'Final'. When I select 'Final Showing Markup', all
changes including the inserted text can be seen. But if I select 'Final
Showing Markup', and uncheck the 'Insertion and Deletion' under the 'Show'
dropdown... the text are missing also.

In Word 2002/2003, when you select "Final", the deleted text will NOT be
displayed. I'm not sure if that addresses your question. If not, please
describe the settings you use in Tools/Options/Track changes. For example,
are you showing changes in balloons, or using formatting marks? If the
latter, which formatting is set for insertions, and for deletions?

Finally, do check whether the text you've inserted has been formatted as
"hidden".
