Default Checking footnotes and endnotes in Word

Hello Lisa

I have unfortunately seen a document which was sent out in bits to translators and then put back together again and seemed to be corrupted

Some links worked but took you to a footnote where the number was omitted, another 'footnote number' was really a superscript number that the translator had put in instead, perhaps thinking that it would make no difference.

It's just that as there is an update TOC tool and bad TOC normally displays an error, I was kind of hoping to find sth similar for foot/endnotes.

Regards
