I don't feel this is it. I'd thought it might be something like a weird
autotext entry "correcting" out my crs. Or some sort of errant keyboard
customisation. Is this possible? (I haven't found anything, though.) I
haven't loaded any dodgy macros or had any virus trouble of late, and I'm
virus protected up to the hilt. The file itself is not corrupt as far as
text and formatting goes. Any corruption, if it is corruption only applies
to the keyboard entry, and then only to this one key.

Sorry I don't know. I am not sure if a document with saved versions like
yours is similar to a Master Document or not. If it is, while this link
won't fix it, it might help explain why it occurred.
