I cannot type the backslash, i.e., "\" on my word documents. When I try I
get a capital W with a strikethrough. |

Verify that the correct keyboard layout has been activated in Windows

Thanks for your input, but during the interim I discovered my problem. I hate to say it, but all I had to do was change the font. Oh well... I guess you must have been using a symbol font of some kind? Anyway, I'm
