Automatically adding a character in a form field
How can I have a form field automatically add an asterisk before and after
the numeric data entered by the user? I do not want the asterisks to appear if no data is entered. |

Either side of the number form field enter the following conditional field
structure (where Text1 is the name of the form field in question) { IF { REF Text1 } 0 "*" } Check the calculate on exit property of the field. The calculation assumes there are no negative numbers. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org PJT1961 wrote: How can I have a form field automatically add an asterisk before and after the numeric data entered by the user?
