How do I create a pie chart in word?
Click INSERT on the menu bar and select OBJECT. If necessary click the
CREATE NEW tab, scroll through the items in the listbox until you find Microsoft Graph Chart. In the Datasheet that appears, there will be some dummy numbers that produce the bar chart on your screen, click the button that is two rows above the number 1 and two columns to the left of column A to select the entire data sheet. Press your delete key to remove the numbers. In the cell below column Letter A, enter your chart title. In the unlabeled column to the left of column A, starting at row number 1, enter you slice labels, and to the right of the slice labels, enter the corresponding value in column A. While the data sheet is still selected, click CHART on the graphing menu, click CHART TYPE, locate PIE in the list and select the pie flavor of the day. -- Kevin Backmann "bub" wrote: Does anyone know how to create a pie chart in word? |
