Default Can'n INsert a Connection Line

i'm trying to insert a connection line but when i open automatic shapes and
then connection lines they're faint.... but all other automatic shapes are
ready for use! do u know what's the problem?

Default Can'n INsert a Connection Line

Connectors are not available in Word 2002 or 2003 unless you are using a
drawing canvas (Insert | Picture | New Drawing).
