I am using MS Word 2003. Just recently, all of my Word docs have begun
formatting any URLs I type in the following format: {HYPERLINK
"www.msonline.com"} instead of underlined in blue with a direct link, as
before. How do I change it back? Any idea why it would have changed to this
format. FYI, I have not installed the SP2 update.

Press Alt+F9 to toggle from field codes (what you see now) to field results.

Tools Options, on the View tab uncheck Field codes. Possibly caused by
errant keystrokes (Alt+t+o+f)
