Automatic Date Updating Problem
I have used the automatic date updating feature for several letter documents.
Some of the documents are not updating automatically. I have checked the box for all of them to update automatically. Can anyone help? Thanks Zoe |

Automatic Date Updating Problem
The current setting of the check box in the Insert | Date and Time dialog
effects only dates you insert from the dialog right now, not any dates that have been inserted previously. A date will update automatically only if it is inserted as a field (and some fields, such as CREATEDATE, don't update); for more, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/DateFields.htm. -- Suzanne S.
