Linked Documents
Hi Jade
Jade wrote: I'm not sure how it came about, but a specific document that I edit often and save as a new updated copy, keeping the old versions, has become linked to these said old versions. The docs are clearly linked as you edit one and simultaneously the others change as well. How did this come about and how do I reverse it? This link obviously defeats the archiving process. The only possible way I can imagine is formatting changes: if you change a style, save it, agree on saving the underlying template, and the template/documents are set to load styles from the template on startup, then this could happen. If you are talking about content, then this is really weird. HTH Robert |
