Default Options dependent on an selection from a Word 2003 Form

Hi,

I am trying to create a straight forward enough form in Word.

I have 2 selections and based on which is chosen there is a table
containing a number of things to be filled out.

Is there a way of only displaying the table that is required based on
the selection?

I hope this makes sense and that someone can help me.

Thanks a million,

Niall.

This would require a macro. By "selections" do you mean a dropdown? If
yes, you can set it to trigger the macro when the user exits the field.

My suggestion would be to store the two tables as AutoText entries. The
macro would insert the appropriate AutoText entry at the desired place
in the document. Best would probably be to insert a BOOKMARK at this
position.

In order for the macro to do this, it would first need to unprotect the
document, then re-protect after the insertion has been done.

If you need help writing a macro, you first need to prepare everything.
You need to tell us:

1. The version of Word
2. The name of the dropdown form field
3. The name you've chosen for the bookmark
4. The names of the AutoText entries
