Default Radio button size

When working with Word forms, is there a way to increase the size of the
"dot" which is put into a blank radio button when the button is clicked on?
I'm creating a form which users can complete electronically but must print
and submit a hard copy. This hard copy, containing "checked" radio buttons
and other fill-in information, is read by a scanner to get the results into
excel. My problem is that the current "dot" is too small to be recognized by
the scanner, which often thinks it is a blank cell. Make sense? I
appreciate any help you can offer.

You might want to rethink using radio buttons at all. If you're using form
fields, then the radio buttons will be incompatible. Even if you're using
only ActiveX controls, your form is going to trigger macro warnings. If you
use a check box form field instead of a radio button, it should be easier to
scan.

Are you referring to the checkbox option in the Legacy Tools area of the
Developer tab?

Also - the document takes a LONG time to load - is this normal? I have used
Word tables throughout the form.

Thanks,
Larry
