Turning off Add to Dictionary option
Is it possible to turn off the Add to Dictionary option (i.e. disable the
button) programmatically, such as in a VBE macro? Thanks |

Are you referring to the entry on the shortcut (context) menu? If not, what
"button" are you referring to? -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "louv" wrote in message ... Is it possible to turn off the Add to Dictionary option (i.e. disable the button) programmatically, such as in a VBE macro? Thanks |

Turning off Add to Dictionary option
Sorry, I was not clear.
I am talking about the "Add to Dictionary" button on the Spell Checker in WORD. I would like to use WORD's Spell Checker in application I am developing but cannot tell if disabling it is possible. Thanks. "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: Are you referring to the entry on the shortcut (context) menu? If not, what "button" are you referring to? -- Suzanne S. Ah, that makes sense. I never actually run the spell checker (just use
"Check spelling as you type"). It's possible this can be done via VBA, but you'll do better to ask in one of the microsoft.public.word.vba hierarchy of newsgroups. This one is primarily for end users. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "louv" wrote in message ... Sorry, I was not clear.
