Updating references
I have a long doc with many figures and references such as See Figure
XXX and See Section YYY, respectively. If I need to insert a new figure or a new section, the references are obviously wrong. Is there a way to have MS Word update the references automatically instead of manually? I am using MS Word 2003. TIA |

Updating references
REF fields do not update automatically. Switching to Print Preview should do
the trick, or do Ctrl+A, F9. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "peteg12345" wrote in message ...
