Merging documents with INCLUDETEXT - paragraphs not restarting
I found this similar post, but there wasn't an actual solution posted:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...=en-us&m=1&p=1 I have a similar problem and would like a more "robust" solution than converting the paragraph numbers to text using the command referenced. There ought to be a way in MS Word 2003 to have the paragraph renumbering restart. Any suggestions? Kurt |

If you are not dealing with that many documents, you could set up different
outline-numbered lists for the different chapters (define all of those lists as explained at http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numb...umbering.html). That way, you wouldn't get any restarts. Alternatively, use SEQ fields to set up numbering; they will give you full control over the numbering and restarts. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "petersk" wrote: I found this similar post, but there wasn't an actual solution posted: http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...=en-us&m=1&p=1 I have a similar problem and would like a more "robust" solution than converting the paragraph numbers to text using the command referenced.
