Default Opening Multi MS Office Docs @ Once

Season's Greetings to all!

I am not sure if this issue is due to Windows Vista, or MS Office '07 Pro.

One of our users recently advised that she went into "Documents" and
selected 2+ MS Word docs to open at the same time (clicked 1x on 1st doc,
held CTRL, and single clicked the 2nd+ doc, then hit enter). In the past she
was able to do this, and was fine. However, when she does this now, no
documents open at all. If she does this same option to open multi PDF files,
they open no troubles. It only seems to be MS Office (Word, Excel, etc).

Any thoughts as to what we could try to remedy this for the user?

Thank you for your time.

Have you tried re-registering Word? See
