Hi,
I am having a terrible time. Microsoft Office Word 2003 is putting
characters every time I hit enter, and is also putting a dit every time I hit
the space bar, so between every single word I type. It makes it horribly
difficult to read my text. Please help asap if you can. :-)

Hi, Stacey. Click on the ¶ button (on the Standard toolbar near the top of
your screen) to turn off display of nonprinting characters.

Click the ¶ button on the toolbar (again -- that's probably how you got
there in the first place). See
