How do I make a 17"x8.5" document with 3 columns print?
The settings of the documents are as follow page size 17"x8.5". Margins 0.38"
top, bottom, left and right. 3 columns equal size. Left column desapears when in print preview. How do I fix it? office worker |

Is your selected printer capable of printing a format that size? If not, you
probably got a warning when you set up the page that One or Margins were outside the allowable range & you clicked YES or NO to having them fixed automatically. Does this sound familiar? Word will allow you to specify a paper size up to 22"x22" and show you the page for editing purposes, but Print Preview is based on what your printer can handle. Since your printer can't print it, Print Preview won't let you see it. You need to select/install a printer driver that supports that paper size & other page setup specs. If this is not the case please post back with more detail, including s/w & o/s versions, and printer info.
