I find that merging to excel is the easiest format. I need more information
to give you specific feedback: Are you merging to a form, envelope, label or what? "jackiek829" wrote: I am trying to use mil merge in word 2000, and create and excel worksheet for a data source it keeps saying it cant use the dde connection and it will not work..., any suggestions????????? |

Hi ?B?amFja2llazgyOQ==?=,
I am trying to use mil merge in word 2000, and create and excel worksheet for a data source it keeps saying it cant use the dde connection and it will not work... You should always quote the exact wording of an error message when asking for help. Based on what you tell us, see if this article applies to your situation: WD2000: ErrMsg: "Word could not re-establish a DDE connection to Application to complete the current task." http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=224048 Cindy Meister INTER-Solutions, Switzerland http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister (last update Jun 8 2004) http://www.word.mvps.org This reply is posted in the Newsgroup; please post any follow question or reply in the newsgroup and not by e-mail :-) |
