sending doc by email/introduction box
Hi, I am newbie, so please forgive my lack of knowledge of Word. I have
created a resume, which I am wanting to send by email. I have read several different ways to do this, which has confused me. Right now I am experimenting with the send "to receipient" option, however, when I complete the "to" and "subject" fields, no introduction box appears for me to type an intro. I am using Word 2003 and Outlook and I run Windows XP on my computer. I have been able to send the resume as an attachment to myself as a test but... when I click it to open, it opens with the resume all the way over to the far right, with half the page showing. The receipient would then need to scroll the page to the left to read the entire page across. Is this how it is supposed to open? Easy enough to scroll it over, but why will it not open with the document where it should be on the page (to the left side)? Thank you, from a divorcee attempting to start life over at 40 who is frustrated today!! |

Send it as an attachment, Summergirl. Most "resume collectors" will
appreciate having them as separate documents anyway. ************ Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "Summergirl" wrote in message ... Hi, I am newbie, so please forgive my lack of knowledge of Word. Anne, hi, thanks so much for your reply. Any idea why when it opens as an
attachment the resume is all the way to the right side and would need to scroll left to read it? Does that even matter? I am sending it as a Word doc attachment. Thanks again for the assistance.
