Default how to make office 2007 compatible with 2003 mode

When i create new document in Office 2007, the files starts in Office 2007
and when i close it i have to ALWAYS select the mode as Compatibility
97-2003. That is tedious, and sometimes i forget to save in compatibility
mode and my supervisor gets fed up.

I don't want to change mode when i save the file, i need when the new blank
page open it can automatically opens in compatibility mode.

What to do? please teach me detail settings.

Aagi
