Hello,

Does anyone know of a means of finding Word docs that contain
hyperlinks...without opening the potential docs? Perhaps selecting all docs
in a folder then pressing a "find docs with hyperlinks" button? I'm kidding,
of course, but I'd sure be happy if there were a utility that could detect
hyperlinks within a set of unopened docs. We are moving numerous docs to a
new server and don't want to overlook any docs that need to have their link
addresses updated.

The following article describes how to access all the files in a certain
folder: http://word.mvps.org/faqs/macrosvba/BatchFR.htm. You should be able
to adjust it to suit your needs. If you run into trouble, you may want to ask
in a programming newsgroup such as microsoft.public.word.vba.general.
