How do I keep styles from changing on their own?!?!?!
I am editting a procedure and using generic Heading format like this:
1.0 1.1 1.1.1 , etc. However, I don't like the indents and have modified the styles for Heading 2 and Heading 3 to have the same left indent as Heading 1. Now sometimes when I'm in the middle of the document, the Headings go back to their original places. IT ISD DRIVING ME CRAZY! Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks. |

You cannot modify the tabs and indents of numbered styles through the Format
Paragraph dialog; they must be done through Bullets and Numbering. See http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numb...Numbering.html -- Suzanne S.
