Saving Word 2007 on Close
The problem that I seem to be having is when I close a word document it asks
me to save. I do so and then the program closes and then re-opens. After the cocument has closed and re-opened I can then close it again with no problem. |

Saving Word 2007 on Close
Hi ?B?c2prdA==?=,
The problem that I seem to be having is when I close a word document it asks me to save. I do so and then the program closes and then re-opens. After the cocument has closed and re-opened I can then close it again with no problem. This is with all Word documents, not just certain ones? Word is restarting, and re-opening the document? Are you getting any messages or seeing any task panes when this happens? Anything about "Recovery", for example? It sounds like Word is crashing and going automatically into recovery... If you start Word in Safe Mode, by holding down the CTRL key before you click the Word icon (or whatever you do to start Word), does the behavior change?
