For inserting symbols in Office there should be a search function
When looking for symbols in Office programs such as word, it would be useful
to have a search function where one could search by what we call a character. The categories used in word don't always mean much to me, and thus don't help me find the symbol I need. |

Can you elaborate on this some more? Are you talking about Unicode
