You need to insert a Section break, then in page numbering autoformat and set
the start of the pagenumbering. Does this help?

Here are some articles that may help you achieve what you want:

1. Sections. See this link on working with sections:
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...thSections.htm

2. Headers/footers. See this link:
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/HeaderFooter.htm

3. General page numbering issues. See:
http://word.mvps.org/FAQS/Numbering/PageNumbering.htm

4. Pagination of landscape pages (optional, if you want the page number to
appear in the same place as on a portrait page). See this link:
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...apeSection.htm

Hope these help you get done what you are trying to do.

P.S. I work in an accounting firm and know the challenges you are facing.
