ALPHATIZE
Use the Sort command. In Word 2003 or earlier it's on the Table menu
(although the text doesn't have to be in a table to sort it); in Word 2007 it's in the Paragraph group on the Home ribbon. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. What kind of list are you referring to? If items are in a table, you can sort on
a particular column. If the items are in the body of the document, you can sort on the selected paragraphs. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "alphabet" wrote in message ... how to arrange a list in alphabet order |
