Default Three Swedish Characters . .

I continually use the folllowing three characters on an, "English" keyboard:-

Ã¥

ä

ö

Is there any way I can assign these characters to other keys on the keyboard
so that I can type them in (roughly) the same way as any other English
character?

Thanks in advance for anmy replies.

The simplest approach is to use the built-in keyboard shortcuts

CTRL+@, a = å
CTRL+:, a = ä
CTRL+:, o = ö

OK, thanks Graham but I was hoping for something, "cleaner".

At the mom I just copy and paste all the time which becomes tedious after a
while.

Thanks anyway though.

If you are typing in Swedish then setup a Swedish keyboard and type the
characters directly. You can switch keyboard layouts with a shortcut or from
the language toolbar. The characters are then at the right end of the first
and second rows of your keyboard where on a UK keyboard you would have ] #
and '
OR
If it is just a few Swedish words you use regularly, set them up as
autocorrect entries to include the correct characters.

I need to have the full range of both an English keyboard and a Swedish
keyboard constantly available (ie I need the full set of characters from both
alphabets available at a single keyboard).

I will examine your comments in more detail in the next few days and see if
I can set things up.

Once again thanks for your help.

Graham, ended up setting up one macro for each of the 3 letters and attached
the macros to buttons in the Quick Access Toolbar so now all I have to do is
to hit one key to get the letter I want.

Thanks for your help and support.
