Can't copy Autotext to new template
I've copied my autotext entries using organiser from normal to a new template
called anita which is stored on a network drive. When users create a new document based on the template on the network the autotext entries that I copied from my normal template aren't there. Why is this? Thanks Anita |

Its not there because you didn't put it in the template being used or in a
global template. See http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm for step-by-step instructions on moving / sharing / copying / backing-up customizations including AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments, toolbars, macros, etc. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
