How do i Place Table at specified position in Word Document
Hi All,
I created a new Document based on Custom Template which has Header & Footer in it. In Header i have two Tables. The Tables in Header get rendered with data based on selection in my Wizard. Now my problem is I Want to Insert another table but it is outside Header and should be below Header and Right side of document. The table should be One row and One Column, it should look like small box. I want to know..... 1. Header Height, ie Bottom position where next i want to Insert table 2. dont know how to set Table Height,Width, Left and Right position? Any Input highly appricate, Regards Venkatesh |

Header Height, ie Bottom position where next i want to Insert table Since you can't set a Header to a specific height, there's really no way to get this directly. The .Information property of the Range or Selection object can give you the position, in points, relative to the page (VerticalPositionRelativeToPage), which you might be able to use. 2. dont know how to set Table Height,Width, Left and Right position? The Row object has a Height property; you can set the Width for a column. The table height/width is the sum of all the row heights/column widths. Take note of the HeightRule property, and also the DefaultTableBehavior argument when creating a table. If you don't want the columns resizing, you want to create the table using the Word 97 rules. The Rows collection has the positioning information you're looking for, starting with the WrapAroundText property. Record a macro while using Table/Properties/Position to get the basic syntax.
