Formatting tables
When adjusting the column widths using the mouse cursor,
sometimes the boundary lines move to where you want it to; sometimes it jumps around and reformats the entire table. How can I adjust table width without this problem? Thanks. Our office uses Word 2003 on Windows XP Professional. |

It should help to press Alt while dragging to override the grid. Also, make
sure that auto resizing is disabled. -- Suzanne S. You will be able to gain direct control over your column widths and not have
them keep changing on you. -- Suzanne S.
