Copy and pasting between PC and Macintosh versions of Word
I am working on an Apple computer. I have copied a file originally created on
a PC using Word 2002 for XP onto my Apple, and then opened it using Word 1998 for Macintosh. Will I lose any information or cause other problems if I select-copy-paste from the file created with 2002-XP into a file created using 1998-Macintosh? |

Hello-
If you mean copying portions of the WinWord doc and pasting into the MacWord doc, there should be no problem at all. No effect on the WinWord doc, but if you are prompted to save change when you close the file, click NO. If you are unomfortable with that, opent the WinWord file on your Mac, then Save As in your MacWord format and work from it. HTH |:) "Benjamin Abelow" wrote: I am working on an Apple computer.
