Default "Phantom" characters are printing

I have had this problem sometimes when printing graphics, but this is just
text. What prints out is not what is shown on the screen or in print
preview. There are random characters printing out in various places on the
sheet. I cannot delete them because they are not showing up on the screen.
What in the world is going on??

It sounds like you have a problem with the printer driver. Possibly it's
damaged. You might want to download the latest version from the manufacturer's
website and replace your current one with that.
