heading numbering
I have a longer document that I want to split up in subdocuments. The
headings (three levels) are assigned automatically to the different chapters of the document. When I create now a subdocument, say of chapter two, a new document is created that is stored outside the master document. So far, everything nice and dandy. How do keep the heading numbers from my original document in the subdocument? If I store "Chapter 2" away in a subdocument then I don't want to see it renumbered to "Chapter 1", just because the other headings from the masterdocument are not present. Any clues on this one? |
