Hi

I am having a problem with the outline numbers eg

1 index
1.1 comment 1
1.2 etc

2 Content
2.1 infor

What I would like is the table and contents to pick up the top level (1 or 2
above).

Is this possible? Any help greatly appreciated

Set up your outline-numbered lists using paragraph styles; as you create the
table of contents, you can then instruct Word to include the top-level
style.
