i am doing an assignment for school and it needs to be in the form of a
pamphlet but i dont know how to set that up on word.

Depends what you mean by "pamphlet." If it's a booklet, you can use "Book
fold" (or see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...etPrinting.htm). If
it's a folded brochure, you might try Word's Brochure.dot template or one of
the many templates at http://office.microsoft.com/templates/default.aspx?
