Default Exponents

I am completing a .doc in rtf for school homework. I must show my work on my
Algebra work, can someone tell me how to show exponents in my work 3 to the
3rd power???

Default Exponents

Select the exponent and press Ctrl+Shift+= to make it Superscript. Or use
Format | Font | Superscript.
